AJIO ads · Answer
The short answer
AJIO lets sellers pay to promote products to shoppers across India. Agencies describe three ad types: product listing ads (PLA), sponsored brand ads and display retargeting. AJIO's own seller page says only that ads help you boost visibility, so most formats and figures here come from agencies and are dated. We run AJIO ads for fashion and lifestyle brands, ads only, not onboarding, catalogue or stock. Start with your top products, not the whole catalogue, and judge the ads on orders after returns.
AJIO's seller site says sellers can boost visibility with ads and showcase products to customers across India. It does not list formats or prices on that page.
The detail comes from agencies. Zaroori Retail's AJIO advertising guide (updated 18 February 2026) lists three ad types: product listing ads, sponsored brand ads and display retargeting. Treat these as third-party descriptions, and check the seller panel for what your account can use today.
Zaroori Retail says product listing ads drive 60% to 70% of paid sales on AJIO, and that they work best on branded and mid-funnel searches. It says sponsored brand ads, which use video and custom banners, build branded search and usually return less per rupee but help repeat buying.
These are one agency's claims for its own accounts. Use them to know what to test first, not as a promise.
The same guide suggests starting with the top ten products and broad keywords, then pausing weak keywords and putting more behind winners each week. A small start gives you clean numbers to judge before the budget grows.
Zaroori Retail suggests a starting daily bid of Rs 500 for product listing ads and a first-month commitment of Rs 1 lakh or more, scaling with sales. It gives a target return of 2.5x to 4x.
These are agency figures for ad spend, read on 5 October 2026. They are not AJIO's price list. Your agency fee is a separate line, and ad spend is never part of it.
Fashion returns are high, and an ad that wins an order that comes back has cost you twice. Look at orders after returns, and at paid and organic orders for the same product and week, before you raise a budget.
An ad for a size or colour you cannot ship spends money on a sale you cannot make. Check stock before you raise a budget, and pause products that run out.
One product line and a small budget is easy to run yourself for a month. Keep the numbers. Outside help earns its fee when you sell on AJIO as well as Myntra, Amazon or Flipkart, and need one plan for where each rupee goes.
We run the ads and the reporting. We do not run onboarding, catalogue, inventory or availability, and we say so before you sign. We work on a monthly retainer, or on revenue share, where the fixed fee is 50% of our usual rate plus 5% to 10% of marketplace revenue.
