Amazon PPC · Answer
The short answer
Highprime Co is an Amazon PPC agency in India, based in Thane. Before any campaign spends, we work out the break-even ACoS of every product from what it leaves you after Amazon's fees, shipping and returns, and give it to you in writing. Every campaign is then judged against that number, with TACoS next to ACoS in the monthly report. Your Seller Central and ad accounts stay in your name. We work on a monthly retainer, or on revenue share, where the fixed fee is 50% of our usual rate plus a share of marketplace revenue.
Break-even ACoS is the share of a sale you can spend on ads before that sale loses money. Take what one order leaves you after product cost, Amazon's fees and shipping, and divide it by the selling price. A ₹1,500 product that leaves you ₹450 has a break-even ACoS of 30%.
Then take returns off. If one order in ten comes back, the orders that stay have to carry the ones that don't, and your real break-even is lower. We do this for every ASIN we'll advertise and send it to you before anything goes live. An agency that promises a target ACoS before it has seen your margins is quoting a number from someone else's account.
Sponsored Products on every product worth advertising. Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display where you have Brand Registry. Weekly search term reviews that move converting terms into their own campaigns and add the ones that spend without selling as negatives. Bids and budgets set by product against its break-even, so a winner can take more budget and a loser stops eating it.
ACoS for each ASIN next to its break-even, so you can see which products the ads made money on. TACoS, which is ad spend divided by total sales, so you can see whether ads are growing the business or only buying sales you'd have got anyway. The wasted spend we cut, and total sales, organic and ad-driven together.
If your monthly ad spend is small and your listing isn't one you'd buy from, an agency fee won't pay for itself. Ads send people to the listing, and a weak listing turns paid clicks into losses. Fix the images, the reviews and the price first, and run a few Sponsored Products campaigns yourself.
An agency earns its fee when there's enough spend to find waste in, when you're launching new products, or when you sell on Amazon alongside Flipkart or your own site and need one plan for where the money goes.
We don't manage your seller account: listings, catalogue, claims, account health or payments stay with you. Amazon A+ content and product photography come from our sister company, Team TSB. We don't need your Seller Central password. You add us as a user with the permissions the ads need.
A monthly retainer if Amazon is the only platform we run. Revenue share if we run every platform you sell on: a fixed fee at 50% of our usual rate plus a share of marketplace revenue. Your ad budget is paid by you, directly to Amazon, and never passes through us.
| Ask for | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Break-even ACoS per ASIN, in writing | Without it, a 'good' ACoS is a guess |
| TACoS every month, next to ACoS | Shows whether ads grew total sales or only bought existing ones |
| User access, not your login | Your account and its history stay yours if you leave |
| Which ad types are covered | Sponsored Products only is a smaller job than all three |
| A short notice period | You can leave if the numbers don't move |
It runs your Amazon Ads: Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display. That covers keywords, bids, budgets, negatives and reporting. A good one sets a break-even ACoS for each product before spending and reports TACoS as well as ACoS.
When the extra profit it can add each month is bigger than its fee. With a small ad budget and a listing that doesn't convert, fix the listing first.
Your break-even ACoS, product by product: what one order leaves you after product cost, Amazon's fees and shipping, divided by the selling price, then lowered for returns. There is no single good number for every brand.
No. Add the agency as a user with advertising permissions. Your account should stay in your name.
