Nykaa ads · Answer
The short answer
Nykaa sells ads to the brands listed on it. Agencies describe five products: product listing ads, sponsored brand ads, a brand store, homepage banners and category placements. Nykaa publishes little on its own pricing, so the figures here are agency statements, dated and attributed. We run Nykaa ads for D2C brands, ads only, not onboarding, catalogue or stock. Start with product listing ads on your best sellers and judge them on orders after returns.
Ads promote products that are already listed. A weak listing, a missing shade or a stockout wastes the click. Fix the listing and the stock first, then the ads.
Zaroori Retail's Nykaa advertising guide (22 February 2026) lists five: product listing ads for search and browse, sponsored brand ads at the top of search, a brand store, homepage banners and category-level placements. Treat this as one agency's description, and check what your account can use in the seller panel.
The same guide suggests a 90-day launch plan: manual bidding on product listing ads first, then creative tests, then sponsored brand ads, then automatic bidding. Banners and category placements cost far more and make sense once the listing ads already work.
Zaroori Retail quotes Rs 8 to Rs 35 a click for product listing ads and Rs 150 to Rs 400 per thousand views for sponsored brand ads. It suggests spending 8% to 15% of Nykaa sales on ads, and 15% to 25% in the first 90 days. It quotes 1.8x to 2.5x return at launch and 3x to 5x for mature accounts.
These are one agency's figures for ad spend, read on 5 October 2026. They are not Nykaa's price list. Your agency fee is a separate line, and ad spend is never part of it.
A shopper who searches for your product is already close to buying, so part of that order would have come anyway. Look at paid and organic orders for the same product and week, and put more money behind the campaigns that add orders on top of organic sales.
One product and a small budget is easy to run yourself for a month. Keep the numbers. Outside help earns its fee when you sell on Nykaa as well as Amazon, Flipkart or your own site, and need one plan for where each rupee goes.
We run the ads and the reporting. We do not run onboarding, catalogue, inventory or availability, and we say so before you sign. We work on a monthly retainer, or on revenue share, where the fixed fee is 50% of our usual rate plus 5% to 10% of marketplace revenue.
