Flipkart marketing · Answer
The short answer
Yes, any active Flipkart seller can run ads. Advertising sits inside Flipkart Seller Hub under the advertising or promotions section, there is no separate application, and a cost per click campaign can be live in a few minutes with a daily budget from around ₹300. The decisions worth making happen before that, not inside the campaign builder.
If you have an active seller account with listings in stock, yes. There is no approval process and no separate advertiser account. The console is part of Seller Hub.
The genuine prerequisite is inventory and listing health. Ads against an out-of-stock or poorly scored listing spend money to reach a page that cannot convert.
Choose the campaign type. Search-based PLA puts you in results when somebody types a query. Contextual PCA puts you on competitor and complementary product pages. They are different jobs and should not share one campaign.
Pick products worth advertising, which is not all of them. Set the daily budget and the bids, and set them per campaign type rather than copying one across.
Then leave it alone long enough to produce a finding, and check the search terms weekly rather than the ACoS hourly.
Listing quality score, which on Flipkart feeds organic ranking directly. Content completeness, image count and quality, and the attribute fields most sellers leave blank. No bid compensates for a weak score.
Your break-even, calculated with Flipkart's own commission, fixed closing fee, shipping fee and collection fee, plus GST on all of it. Then subtract returns. Advertising targets set above that number lose money quietly.
Your offer. On Flipkart, exchange and bank offer mechanics frequently out-perform the creative, so a campaign built on a weak offer starts behind.
