The short answer
Highprime Co is a marketing agency for D2C startups in India, based in Thane. We run Meta and Google ads for your own website and Amazon, Flipkart and other marketplace ads as one plan. A startup should hire us after its first orders, once it knows what one order earns. Before that, we will tell you what to fix first. Your break-even cost per customer goes in writing before any campaign spends, and the ad accounts stay in your name.
Before the first sale there is nothing for an agency to repeat. It would be paid to guess which product, price and offer works, and you would be paying for the guessing. A few weeks of small tests run by you or a freelancer answer that for far less.
After a few hundred orders you know your margin, your return rate and which product sells. That is the point where an agency is paid to repeat something that already works, and where our fee starts to make sense.
Take a product sold at Rs 1,500 that costs Rs 450 to make, Rs 120 to ship, and loses Rs 180 to payment fees and discounts. That leaves Rs 750 before advertising. This is an illustration, so use your own numbers. If winning a customer costs Rs 800, you lose money on the first order, whatever ROAS the report shows.
We work this out for each product we advertise and send it to you before anything goes live. On cash on delivery we also report orders delivered next to orders placed, because refused parcels still count as sales in an ad report.
Meta and Google ads for your own website, and Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa and quick commerce ads for the marketplaces you sell on. One plan and one profit number, so budget moves to wherever the product earns most. Tracking is checked first: Pixel and Conversions API connected and matched to real orders.
Your ad accounts, Pixel and marketplace ad accounts are in your name, and we are added as partners. Your ad budget is paid by you directly to the platform and never passes through us. If you leave, the history, audiences and creatives stay with you.
A first engagement covers a tracking and account check, customer and competitor research, a set batch of creatives, a limited number of tests and weekly reports, for a fixed fee agreed in advance. With low order volume the sales will be noisy, so judge us on the work, the reporting and the questions we ask as much as on the sales.
We don't do branding, logo or packaging design, social media management or influencer marketing, so if you need those first, hire for them separately. We don't promise a ROAS figure before seeing your margins. We will tell you if your unit economics cannot carry ads yet, before you pay us.
Two ways. A monthly retainer, a fixed fee for the channels we run. Or revenue share: a fixed fee at 50% of our usual rate plus 5% to 10% of marketplace revenue. Revenue share covers every platform we run for you, because most of what we earn is the share, and we need to be free to move budget to wherever your product sells.
Our office is in Thane, Mumbai, and we work with D2C startups across India by video call. We have no office in any other city.
| Your stage | What to do first |
|---|---|
| Before your first sale | Fix the product page, photos and offer, and run small tests yourself. An agency cannot fix what is missing |
| First orders, few and uneven | A small team that tests creatives, offers and pages on a short scoped pilot |
| Orders come but you lose money | Work from margin, shipping and returns, and stop advertising the products that lose |
| Orders are fine, few repeat buyers | Retention first: email and WhatsApp, with fewer new ads |
| You also sell on Amazon, Flipkart or quick commerce | One team watching your own site and the marketplaces together |
It runs the ads and measurement that bring the first buyers: audiences, creative testing, budgets, tracking and reporting. A good one starts from what one order earns, not from a promised ROAS.
After the first few hundred orders, once you know your margin and which product sells. Before that, small tests run by you or a freelancer cost less and teach you more.
It varies widely by scope and ad spend, and ad spend is paid separately to the platforms. We work on a monthly retainer, or on revenue share, where the fixed fee is 50% of our usual rate plus 5% to 10% of marketplace revenue.
Ask for brands at your price point and stage, what they will ask about margin and returns before promising ROAS, who runs your account, what they will not do, and what you keep if you leave.
Yes, on a short scoped pilot with a fixed fee, a set number of creatives and weekly reports. If your budget cannot cover both the fee and a meaningful test spend, a freelancer for the first months is the better choice.
