Flipkart marketing · Answer

Why is my product not visible on Flipkart?

The short answer

In most cases the listing is inactive. Check the four states first: out of stock, pending or rejected in quality checks, blocked by a category or brand restriction, and archived by a failed bulk upload. Only once the listing is genuinely live and serving does keyword coverage or listing quality score become the explanation.

Check the four blocking states first

Stock. A zero quantity listing does not appear, and stock is the thing most likely to have changed since you last looked.

Listing status. A product held in quality check or rejected for an image, an attribute or a compliance field is not live no matter how good the copy is. The rejection reason is in Seller Hub and it is specific.

Category or brand restriction, which can suppress a listing weeks after it went live.

A bulk upload that partially failed, which is quiet and common. The file reports success, a subset of rows did not apply, and nobody checks the row count.

How to increase visibility on Flipkart once it is live

Listing quality score is the lever, and it is free. Completeness of attributes, image count and quality, title and description structure, and the fields most sellers leave blank because they are optional.

Search coverage comes next. If the words buyers type are not in the title, the attributes or the description, the listing cannot be matched to them. Take the terms from Flipkart's own search suggestions and from your ad reports. A keyword tool built for Google will not have them.

Then service metrics, because dispatch reliability and ratings feed placement directly.

When to spend on it and when not to

Advertising a listing that is blocked burns budget against a page that cannot convert. Advertising one with a weak quality score is paying to rent visibility you could partly have earned.

Fix the listing, confirm it is serving, then decide what is worth buying. That order is the whole argument, and it is the same one we make about Amazon.
